About PIM Preferences

If you have one (or more) of the PIM or contact manager products that DAZzle supports, select the appropriate check boxes. By selecting the active PIM or contact manager products, the DAZzle menus are modified to allow the transfer of address list data to and from each selected PIM or contact manager product. Specifically, the Edit > Paste command shows each active PIM. In DAZzle and DAZzle Professional the File > Print from and Layout > Dial-A-ZIP from menu options also show the active PIM or contact manager products.

Selecting a PIM and then clicking the Setup button displays the Mapping Options dialog box. In the Mapping Options dialog box, you specify which of your PIM or contact manager product fields correspond to DAZzle fields . This is a called field mapping, which is required for transferring data to and from your PIM or contact manager product and DAZzle. You need to map only the fields that you use for printing and using Dial-A-ZIP.
